Bramante Staircase is the name given to two staircases in the Vatican Museums in the Vatican City State: the original stair, built in 1505, and a modern equivalent from 1932, which is also called Momo staircase after its designer Guiseppe Momo. Both feature a double helix structure, but only the modern one is open to public.
Photo tips: You'll need a very wide angle to capture a significant part of the helix (about 15mm at full-frame preferred). Tripods are not allowed, so stabilized lens or body would help to capture a sharp photo. To avoid the crowds, you might want to take many frames and blend them later in Photoshop or another favorite photo editor.
Getting there: The staircase is located at the end of the museum visit, all visitors leave by this route, so you can't really miss it.
