I'm off to Scotland tomorrow for a week, so to sign off here's one from last year. This is the very fine Foinaven as seen across the quartzite boulder-field of the neighbouring Cranstackie. These are some of the most northerly mountains in Scotland, right up in the north west of Sutherland and within sight of Cape Wrath. We shall see what this year brings....
