STOLEN PHOTOS - FINAL UPDATE: I just received a mail from Yahoo saying that my request is not processed because they claim I did not put a valid phone number (which is totally nonsense, I did put my number in Dubai - are they expecting a US number???). So the thief removed the photos not because of Yahoo but only because of you, my dear "Internet Mob Friends"! ;-)
LARGE View (Contacts only - sorry). I sincerely apologize to the flickr members who regularly visit my stream but are not in my contacts list. I will gradually add them to my contacts list.
Was in a panoramic mood today, so here it is! This panorama is composed of 6 exposures, each pano exposure is a digital blending of 5 exposures (shot in portrait mode with my Tokina 11-16mm). Total number of exposures processed: 30, each of the RAW shots processed with Adobe Camera Raw for the White Balance and also the Vibrance setting. About 2 hours of total processing. Original size of the panorama: 38 Megapixels.
Ideally, I would have shot the boats and the flag at high ISO and high shutter speed (to freeze the movement), but I felt I was a bit pushing too much! ;-)

Hello Dear Friends, yes I am still alive! I don't shoot much these days, hence my rare presence on flickr. But this shot is fresh from the oven taken today near where I live.
It's still always a pleasure to 'pop in' and visit your streams! I still have a few shots in my archives, I'll try to post them soon. Have a great week end!

An old shot I took back in January this year, and kind of 'forgot it'! Taken with my Nikkor Fisheye, then 'de-fisheyed' using this nice Photoshop plugin called Fisheye Hemi. It does an excellent job without cropping too much.
4 exposures manual Digital Blending.
I am still a bit slow catching up with your streams! Sorry about that!

Shot from the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, the cool blue lit ramp leading to the pontoons.

After my few dark hours, and B&W experiment, back to the Blue Hour! The temperatures are now a bit cooler, 33 degrees at the time I took this shot today. Humidity has gone down too (40% today) which is great! And you can also notice some shy clouds, they should become more present as we move towards 'winter'.
Another view of the Dubai Marina Yacht Club. This is a 'small' conventional panorama, made from two landscape shots. Digital Blending, total of 7 exposures used for the whole panorama.

Another shot from the newly opened Dubai Marina Yatch Club with the huge Jumeirah Beach Residence complex in the background.
Wish you a pleasant week end!
My usual Digital Blending formula: About 4 exposures at f/8 ISO 200 and one exposure at f/2.8 ISO 800 for the boats. All exposures pre-processed with Adobe Camera Raw (White Balance, Clarity, Vibrance, Saturation). Then manually blended and post processed with CS4.

Taken during a photo outing last evening with my flickr buddy Abdul Rahman from Qatar (arfromqatar).
This is a kind of 'rescued' shot, since we were caught by a security guard after I only shot 2 exposures of my usual 5. I had to manage with those only 2 exposures, hence I produced a more darker shot than my usual ones, but I am still happy with the result.
