Vermilion Lakes shore is a beautiful place to watch Mount Rundle.
Photo tips: A wide-angle is most useful here in order to include both Mt. Rundle and the lake in the foreground. Both sunrises and sunsets can create a beautiful atmosphere here.
Getting there: There's quite a lot of suitable parking spots right along the Vermilion Lakes Drive. The spot is very popular and can become crowded, particularly for sunsets, so definitely come early in order to have enough time to find your spot.
The Vermilion Lakes are a series of three lakes in Banff. They are located in the Bow River Valley between the Trans-Canada Highway and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. The famous Banff National Park lies in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. (_7120967) OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
