--seen in Iceland

Over half of the world´s population of the Atlantic Puffin breeds in Iceland. Puffins can be seen in their breeding grounds as early as late April all the way to early September. It was very interesting to watch puffins flying into ocean and carrying finishes back to their individual homes. They fly fast and act from other intruders, such as seagulls, quickly. So lucky to see these unique and beautiful birds in person. Indeed, they are a big attraction in Iceland.
