The Changing room is a important, complete and extremely rare survival of the bathing complex at Culzean Castle, Ayrshire, and is situated adjacent to the Old Bath House where it reflects both the Regency fashion for sea bathing and the Picturesque taste in architectural execution. The changing room emulates a Roman Mausoleum and was built between 1770-1846 for 1st Marquess of Ailsa.
