Ushba is a beautifully shaped mountain in Svanetia, Georgia, a part of Caucasus mountain range. I particularly like its shape from this South-Western direction, as its double summit appears as single. Also the ridge in front of it creates a nice leading line to the mountain resulting in an appealing composition.
Photo tips: Telephoto in the 100-150 mm range nicely isolates the mountain. My original plans were for a wide-angle shot with the river in foreground, but it's hard to find a good spot around for this plan.
Getting there: It's next to a road, so either drive here, take a marshrutka or just walk here, possibly as a part of Mestia to Mazeri trek, over Guli pass (which is very nice, btw!)
