Monty and I shared a 'Strategic Photography Break' (AKA we were knackered!) at the top of An Stac, a Corbett on the West Coast of Scotland. The view from up here is quite something, as this mountain is a fine, steep-sided cone that rises straight up from the shores of Loch Ailort. Looking across the Sound of Arisaig the Isle of Rum takes centre stage, and round to the right the Black Cuillin of Skye break up the line of the horizon. I'd heard that the views were worth the effort, and they were absolutely right.
