One of the coolest locations we visited while at the Arches national park was the fins known for the Sand Dunes arch. At the fins you are seeing basically how arches are formed in real time. This was an impressive location and we visited just after sunrise so I had the sun behind the rock formations providing some dramatic light in the sky.
We totally underestimated this part of the park and only visited them on the last day. I would love to visit more of this area next time I am at Arches national park.
