Last light above Tromso, Northern Norway.
The sunset had been pretty good and there was still quite a lot of golden light left illuminating the mountain tops in the opposite direction (the sun setting behind my back as I took this), there were quite a lot of photographers around but not one of them seemed to look behind them to see the this pink / purple light that was kicking off momentarily, in fact I had the area all to myself to shoot this which up here was a rarity in the 2 hours I spent freezing awaiting the city lights to come on through blue hour, I don't really like shooting in big groups, it just isn't me, having this little spot to myself and being able to watch this for ten minutes before it vanished was a real joy.
Two days running in Norway and I'd had great pink light both days that I hadn't really experienced before, it seems extremely different from anything at home, possibly owing to the freezing conditions within the Arctic Circle, I don't know, either way it was great to watch and I still had time to capture some golden light images after this had long vanished into pale blue.
