Naturpark Karwendel
Naturpark Karwendel is a stunning natural reserve located in the Austrian Alps, known for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. This park is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike, offering a plethora of opportunities to capture the beauty of the mountains, forests, and lakes. Some of the most popular photography locations in Naturpark Karwendel include the Ahornboden, a picturesque valley with ancient maple trees, the Gleirschklamm gorge, a dramatic canyon with waterfalls and rock formations, and the Karwendel cable car, which provides panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
Ein grossartiges Naturschauspiel wiederholt sich alljährlich im Spätherbst am grossen Ahornboden, einem der wohl schönsten Plätze im Karwendel, wenn sich das Laub der Ahornbäume gelb verfärbt. Ich war leider noch ein bisschen zu früh.

Although I'm focused on editing my Madeira photos right now, I mustn't forget that there is a colorful autumn taking place on my doorstep. So I took the chance to go to the "Großer Ahornboden", wich is most beautiful in autumn. Only for a few days the trees show their intense yellow color. This one has a certain beauty even without leaves, and with this background I thought it was worth a shot.
