China is a vast and diverse country that offers a plethora of stunning photography locations. From the bustling cities of Beijing and Shanghai to the serene landscapes of Guilin and Zhangjiajie, China has something for every type of photographer. The Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and the Terracotta Warriors are just a few of the iconic landmarks that attract photographers from all over the world. The country's natural beauty is equally impressive, with the Yellow Mountains, Jiuzhaigou National Park, and the Li River providing breathtaking backdrops for landscape photography.
Greetings from Hong Kong, where I am revisiting this place with my D800. The last time I was there was in 2007, I was a rookie on flickr and had a Sony A100 :)
I was truly lucky to land in Hong Kong today with an exceptionally clear weather, which urged me to rush to Victoria Peak as soon as I unpacked my luggage.
This shot was processed on my slow laptop, but somehow it managed to handle the digital blending of the 5 D800 raw files.
I wish you could also see the full size 36 Mpix photo! :)

The Gate of Divine Might or Gate of Divine Prowess is the northern gate of the Forbidden City in Beijing, China.

Corner towers on the four coigns of lofty walls of the Forbidden City were established in 1420, rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). As one part of the Forbidden City, they served as the defense facility just as the lofty walls, the gate towers and the moat. The corner towers rest on the base with Buddist-style building surrounded with stone columns.
