Assouan

Assouan, also known as Aswan, is a city located in the southern part of Egypt. It is a popular tourist destination due to its rich history and stunning natural beauty. The city is situated on the banks of the Nile River and is home to many ancient temples and monuments, including the famous Abu Simbel temples. Assouan is also known for its picturesque landscapes, including the Nubian villages and the Elephantine Island. For photography enthusiasts, Assouan offers a plethora of opportunities to capture stunning images of the city's architecture, landscapes, and people.

Templo de Isis, de época ptolemaica, antiguamente emplazado en la isla de Filé pero que tuvo que ser trasladado junto con las otras construcciones de la isla antes de la construcción de la presa de Asuan. Junto con otros monumentos nubios es Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 1979.
