Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Le Mont-Saint-Michel is a stunning island commune located in Normandy, France. It is known for its breathtaking beauty and rich history, making it a popular destination for tourists and photographers alike. The island is home to a number of iconic landmarks, including the famous Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, which dates back to the 8th century. The narrow streets and charming architecture of the island also make it a great location for photography.

I wasn't even sure I wanted to photograph this iconic location, seeing as thousands have done it before me. But being in the area I decided to give it a shot. The early morning fog seemed like it wanted to stay all day, but then there was an opening, at the same time as the high tide came in. Suddenly conditions were perfect, and I'm so glad I waited for this.
