Lübeck

Lübeck is a charming city located in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and rich cultural heritage, Lübeck is a popular destination for tourists and photographers alike. The city offers a plethora of photography locations, including the iconic Holstentor gate, the historic town hall, and the picturesque streets of the old town. The city's many churches, such as St. Mary's Church and St. Peter's Church, also provide stunning photo opportunities. The Holsten Gate (1464) is the best known of the two remaining city gates of Lübeck. It has grown to be the symbol of this city that was once known as the Queen of the Hanseatics. Since 1987 it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lübeck is also known for its great marzipan.
