Valley of the Temples
Valley of the Temples is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Agrigento, Sicily. It is a vast archaeological park that houses some of the most well-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. The temples were built between the 5th and 6th centuries BC and are dedicated to various gods and goddesses. The Valley of the Temples is a popular destination for photographers due to its stunning architecture and scenic views. Uno dei templi più completi della valle con una lunga storia alle spalle tra riti pagani e cristiani in una mescolanza che ci ha comunque permesso di poterlo apprezzare fin ai giorni nostri.
Geometrie d'interni ...peccato non poter girare liberamente tra queste colonne ma forse considerando l'ignoranza di qualcuno...forse...è meglio così.

The so-called Temple of Concordia is one of the best preserved temples of Greek antiquity and the showpiece of the "valley of the temples" near Agrigento.
The famous "Fallen Icarus" by polish artist and sculptor Igor Mitoraj in front of the Concordia Temple. Known for his fragmented sculptures of the human body often created for large-scale public installations, he is considered one of the most internationally recognized Polish sculptors. He died in 2014.
The Temple of Heracles or Temple of Hercules (The Roman name of the hero) is an ancient Greek temple in the ancient city of Akragas, located in the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento.
