New Zealand is a breathtakingly beautiful country that offers a diverse range of landscapes and natural wonders that are perfect for photography enthusiasts. From the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps to the rugged coastlines of the North Island, New Zealand is a photographer's paradise. Some of the most popular photography locations in New Zealand include Milford Sound, Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook, the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and the Bay of Islands.
We planned to stay there for two days. It was raining a lot. All travelers had to leave in the convey with risk of road closure due to possible avalanche. Our trip was cut short one day earlier.
The Cathedral Cove – A must-see when you are in Coromandel, New Zealand. This tall rock with the nice shape in the ocean gives you a marvellous view when leaving the cave on the way to the spot. We also liked the fact, that most of the people visit this lovely place during daytime and leaving quite soon, resulting in a perfect spot to watch the sunset. (At least in spring) Moreover, keep the tide in mind when you want to walk to the other side.

Took this photo on the way from Te Anau to Milford Sound just stopping in a random place to enjoy sunset. A week later was surprised to find that google maps says this scenery was filmed in Hobbit movie.
We spent a few days roaming around Mt. Cook/Aoraki National Park. This road is one of the most photographed place in New Zealand. It’s along the lake Pukaki, heading to the great Mt. Cook/Aoraki. I was just speechless, contemplating this beautiful landscape surrounding me.

Situated on the shores of Lake Tekapo is the Church of the Good Shepherd, which, in 1935, was the first church built in the Mackenzie Basin. The church at Burkes Pass, St Patrick's built in 1872 was the first church built by pioneers as a joint community effort, by Anglicans Presbyterian and Catholic settlers.
We did not get chance to watch star sky at this location because of cloudy day. It is one of the biggest pities in this trip.

The New Zealand weather wasn't easy to deal with. A lot of rain wherever we went. The good thing was that with our camper we were flexible and the metservice forecast was astoundingly accourate, which took me a while to realize.
When we were in Tongariro National Park it was all rain and storm. We had planned two days there and I wanted to do the crossing on day two. But after a freezing night and a constant downpour in the morning we decided to head for the only place on the North Island where the forecast still showed some sun.
A real good decision. For one thing we were nearly the only people visiting + I had some sweet light at sunset.
