Torla-Ordesa

Torla-Ordesa is a picturesque town located in the Aragon region of Spain. It is situated at the entrance of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, including the Pyrenees Mountains, lush forests, and crystal-clear rivers. Torla-Ordesa is a popular destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, as it offers a wide range of activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and bird watching. Una opción para visitar el parque de Ordesa sino eres amante de grandes caminatas o simplemente no tienes demasiado tiempo, es con una de las salidas que realiza una empresa local desde Torla en 4 x 4. Estos coches te suben a los Miradores de Ordesa, teniendo una vista privilegiada de todo el parque coincidiendo con la puesta de Sol. Toda una experiencia realmente fantástica y muy recomendable.

El pueblo de Torla es puerta de acceso al valle de Ordesa en los Pirineos, perteneciente al Parque nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, así como al valle de Broto. Se encuentra a 100 km de Huesca capital, y el acceso por carretera solo puede realizarse por la N-260 desde Broto o desde Biescas a través del puerto de Cotefablo (1.423 m.)

Visitar este parque es una maravilla en cualquier época del año. Además, en cada estación, se podría decir que son parques muy diferentes: nieve, deshielo, colores radiantes y finalmente el otoño. En otoño hay una explosión de colores, que cambian con rapidez de una semana a otra hasta que finalmente las hojas caducas caen y pasamos de nuevo al invierno.

Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park is situated in the Pyrenees of Huesca province, Aragon, Spain. There has been a National Park in the Ordesa Valley since 1918.

It has been included since 1997 by UNESCO in the Biosphere Reserve of Ordesa-Viñamala.
