King's Cross Station is one of the busiest and most iconic transportation hubs in London. Located in the heart of the city, it serves as a gateway to many popular destinations in the UK and beyond. The station is also a popular spot for photography enthusiasts, with its stunning architecture and bustling atmosphere providing a wealth of opportunities for capturing unique and memorable shots. From the grand facade of the station's main entrance to the bustling platforms and bustling crowds, there are plenty of photography locations to explore at King's Cross Station.
The subway tunnel is a newly built 90m long pedestrian tunnel at King’s Cross. The beautifully designed tunnel links the two arterial transport hubs – St Pancras International and King’s Cross Underground stations – to the new public spaces, restaurants, offices and homes at King’s Cross. The gently curving underground tunnel features an ‘art wall’ made from LED lights, which will be used to showcase artistic commissions. The art light wall was designed by Spiers & Major and built by The Light Lab. Running the length of the tunnel the light wall contains 190 controllable vertical pixels set behind 12mm toughened glass.

It did not take long before they chased me away with my tripod. But I had a few shots in the box. 😄

The first image I've uploaded to this site with the fantastic Fuji X100S. The Rainbow Tunnel is a great bit of modern (or retro) design depending on which way you look at it, hidden away under London, not the easiest of locations to find, and easily missed, the walls inside here change colour and contrast against the black and white lined opposite wall making for some interesting images, pick your composition and just add some passers by to the scene...Quite a rare shot for me as it's not very often I include people in my images.
