Holy Island of Lindisfarne
Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a small tidal island located off the northeast coast of England, in the county of Northumberland. It is a place of great historical and spiritual significance, known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Lindisfarne is home to a number of iconic photography locations, including the ruins of Lindisfarne Priory, the picturesque Lindisfarne Castle, and the stunning coastline with its dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches.

Lindisfarne Priory on Holy Island was one of the most important centres of early Christianity in Anglo-Saxon England. It is still a place of pilgrimage today, the dramatic approach across the causeway adding to the fascination of the site (English Heritage)
