Worcester

It seems many of my Flickr chums have been off to exotic places and have been photographing iconic locations. Down here in rural Worcestershire we have our own collection of interesting places, such as Diglis Bridge which opened in 2010 for foot and bike traffic. It somehow reminds me of a giant spider looming over the walkway.

I got bored walking Monty up and down our lane in the dark so decided to go into town instead for a walk by the river. It's been done before, but here you go, Worcester Cathedral at night. I'm afraid it's going to be a very long time (if ever) when at least part of it isn't covered by scaffolding, but better that than this grand old building falling down. The cathedral is probably best seen across the river Severn, but there are a couple of other angles I want to try.
