Redwood National Park

Redwood National Park is a stunning natural wonder located in the northern coast of California. The park is home to some of the tallest trees in the world, with some towering over 350 feet tall. The park is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including black bears, elk, and bald eagles. For photographers, Redwood National Park offers a wealth of opportunities to capture the beauty of nature. Some of the best photography locations in the park include the Lady Bird Johnson Grove, the Tall Trees Grove, and the Fern Canyon. These locations offer breathtaking views of the towering redwoods, as well as opportunities to capture the park's wildlife in their natural habitat.

Redwoods Magic
Lady Bird Grove

The Redwoods are just awesome. Besides the columbia River Gorge with it's waterfalls I liked the Redwoods the most during our trip along the US west coast. Other than in the Hoh Rainforest even in direct daylight it was possible to capture some of the Redwoods magic. Here the light added just the missing atmosphere.

Tech: this is a pano of three horizontal shots taken at 24mm. If you are interested in my lightweight pano setup have a look at my video here
