Hey guys, how is your weekend going on so far? We had an opportunity to catch up with a friend while chasing the light up at the Starved Rock State park. Great hike and even better company was topped with the beautiful landscapes all around us. All the waterfalls were frozen! It’s a photographers paradise. I wanted to do something a bit different for this moment to reset my pallet and my feed. A change is always good! What do you think?
Is the fall color coming along nicely? My first trip to the north and my endless excitement for photographing the fall color this season ended up with a big fail. The local visitors center misinformed me that the color is there and I ended up driving 5.5h one way just to find out that there was no color at all there. Very disappointed I set in to my car and drove back for another 5.5 that same day. I decided to give it another try this week and try to get something out of this season. So before I leave again with the big hopes I will share this shot from last year, taken at the beautiful Starve Rock State Park. What do you think?
Thanks to all Phoide contributors to Starved Rock State Park!
