Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids is a vibrant city located in the western part of Michigan, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning natural beauty. The city is home to numerous photography locations that offer breathtaking views and unique perspectives. From the iconic Grand River to the picturesque parks and gardens, Grand Rapids has something for every photography enthusiast. The city's vibrant downtown area is also a popular spot for capturing the city's urban landscape, with its towering skyscrapers, bustling streets, and colorful murals.
It’s all about the tone, right? I spent recently some time in Grand Rapids, Michigan and I just fell in love with that skyline. It’s been photographed a lot and I didn’t have that much time to get everything I wanted. I got the night shot but for some reason I like the mood and the color palette from the overcast day. I decided to shoot a long exposure pano. To get the long exposure effect I used the Sony app that blends about 128 shots for each frame to get the long exposure effect. I stitched 13 of those frames for a huge 210MPX pano. I would usually go for a BNW edit but this minimalistic 3 tone frame just spoke to me. What do you think?
