South Haven
South Haven is a charming city located in the southwestern part of Michigan, known for its beautiful beaches, lighthouses, and picturesque landscapes. This small town is a popular destination for photographers, offering a variety of stunning locations to capture the perfect shot. The South Haven Lighthouse, perched on the pier, is a favorite spot for photographers, especially during sunrise and sunset. The sandy beaches, dunes, and blue waters of Lake Michigan provide a stunning backdrop for landscape photography. The Kal-Haven Trail, a 34-mile trail that runs from South Haven to Kalamazoo, offers a unique opportunity for nature photography, with its scenic views of forests, wetlands, and wildlife.
Did anyone catch northern lights last night? Our attempt was a complete bust! But hey, that’s life! What matters is that we tried and the day in whole was a complete success. We spent some quality time with our friends and still manage to get away with a few keepers. South Haven was a huge surprise to all of us. It is very beautiful and the walk in marina makes you feel like you are somewhere in Amsterdam. Can you spot the ship?
