This bridge fascinates me and I was there at different times to take photos. So I have played around a bit with the images and then decided to post something completely different from my usual work. The Vasco Da Gama bridge in Lisbon is Europe's longest bridge at almost 12.5 kms. It was inaugurated in 1998 conmemorating the Portugese explorer's discovery of the naval passage to India.

The iconic Portugese bridge at low tide just after Sunset. According to Wikipedia it is the longest bridge in Europe of 12,345 kms. It was inaugurated in 1998, 500 years after the Portugese discoverer Vasca da Gama found the sea route to India.
Beside the well known Tram Line Nr. 28, this very steep and short one in the "Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo" is the most spectacular one for me. A great scenery in the background and two cars driving every 15 minutes. Great place to shoot Lisbon trams.
More than 1000 favorites honor me very much, many thanks to all who have supported this photo.
Estação Oriente (Lisbon Oriente Station, designed by Santiago Calatrava) was inaugurated in May 1998, as part of the celebrations marking the opening of the Expo '98. Inspired by a whale skeleton. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gare_do_Oriente
Guess where I shot this ;-) I think by know you know this beach, praia da Adraga. Maybe I'm posting to much pictures I shot there but I had two very different evenings there and this beach is just full of compositions. In contrast to my last upload this was shot during a very calm evening. I went for the pano crop since the sky was just empty anyway and I think the wide view suites this beach very well.

enjoy :-)
I still have a couple more from portugal.. Here's one from Cabo Raso, which is a great place to do photography. The rough coast there gives many possibilities to find your spot and the sea at this place is quite rough which gives you the opportunity to capture good water movement too. We had a great sunset with nicely lit clouds but after sunset the light became real magic..The purple hue of the clouds in this shot is no processing result, it's just how it looked.

Hope you like it, was quite a windy evening where I had to constantly whipe my filters.
cheers

It was quiet when most tourists were off street in Sintra, Portugal. It was perfect moment to experience Sintra.
