Ötztal Alps

Il lago di Resia (Reschensee in tedesco) è un lago alpino artificiale situato a 1.498 m s.l.m. nel comune di Curon Venosta in Alto Adige, a nord del vicino lago di San Valentino alla Muta. Con la sua capacità di 120 milioni di metri cubi è il lago più grande della provincia di Bolzano.

Le village de Rechen fut enseveli en 1950 pour donner place à un lac de barrage. L'histoire était une tragédie pour les habitants maigrement dédommagé par la société d'exploitation. La tour de l'église est le seul vestige pour témoigner de cet évènement.
