Open to campus religious groups of all denominations, and used by students and faculty of all religions, Heinz Chapel is the University of Pittsburgh's campus chapel and a historic landmark. A popular site for guided tours, weddings, and concerts, the renowned undergraduate Heinz Chapel Choir also performs here.

The chapel, dedicated in 1938, is a gift from Henry John Heinz, founder of the Heinz Food Company, and his children. It's 23 exquisitely detailed stained glass windows depict 391 sacred and secular figures who are famous in religion, history, medicine, science, and the arts.

Trivia tidbit: The 73-foot transept windows are among the tallest in the world and depict an equal number of women and men.
