A River Runs Through It
Lagangarbh cottage, Buachaille Etive Mor

Lagangarbh Hut, Glen Coe. For the princely sum of £10 you can get a bunk for the night and if your really lucky you might be able to get a bunk with a view of Buachaille Etive Mor. The River Coupall flows past fiercely in this shot.

Perfecting isolation
Lagangarbh cottage, Buachaille Etive Mor
by Pete Rowbottom

Explore #6 15/10/16 Glencoe is one of the most attractive places in mainland Scotland for me, very remote surroundings with something different around every corner, this cottage is a great feature than can be seen from a good way with it's fantastic mountainous backdrop and the colourful river sitting ahead of it it is in an amazing location, you can't help but wonder why it was actually built here if it wasn't purely for the views as there is literally nothing else here. Stob Dearg (1022ft) is directly behind the cottage.

A typically moody Glencoe sky here today but not too dark, a bit of a wait in the river and the tops of the mountains cleared off nicely, every time I've shot this Cottage before it has been in the rain so this made a nice change to be able to get into the river and take my time a bit more, I could happily live there, Smoked Salmon, glass of Malt, and a real fire, surrounded by all that what more would you need?

A quiet little cottage sat back from the A82 in Glencoe. A simple composition that appealed straight away.

One of those shots I've wanted to get for a long time. There's something about a small white house in front of the lurking hulk of a mountain. This...
