Bøsdalafossur is a stunning waterfall located in the Faroe Islands on the island of Vágar. This natural wonder is a popular destination for photographers due to its unique location and breathtaking views. The waterfall cascades down a cliff and flows into the Atlantic Ocean, creating a picturesque scene that is perfect for capturing on camera. The surrounding landscape is also a photographer's dream, with rugged cliffs, rolling hills, and dramatic coastline.
After hiking along the “flying lake”, I got to this amazing location, and even in summertime, I got it all to myself. This is where said lake flows into the North Atlantic Ocean. The weather was not as windy as I had hoped for, yet the waves were crashing on the rocky sides here … and that was the only thing one could hear.
