Spring is slowly approaching at Lake Obernberger. Shortly after the last snow has melted there are a few small flowers blooming and the cold wind from the snow-capped mountains blows a slight ripple on the surface of the lake. A beautiful nature experience at any time of the year.
I could not leave this beautiful scenery without taking at least one large panorama. I chose my 35mm f 1.4 which is my favourite Fujinon lens for this purpose. Took 8 vertical frames with 18 000 pixels first, before cutting and reducing it to this final size.
I have to Interrupt my intense Corsica travel revue with something really current. Fortunately we can find wonderful nature experience without travelling far, right here in Tirol. This panorama from the top of the Patscherkofel with the broadcasting station, a part of Innsbruck in the lower right corner and of course that awesome sky, was the reward for a 3-hours ski tour. Pano 8 vertical shots handheld
Back to Tirol and another evening walk. At the last light of dusk I found this beautiful lookout near Rinn. Looking north across the Inn valley you can see the striking mountain named Bettelwurf in the back and some houses of the town named Hall in Tirol.

Cute church and ski resort, too bad the snow was below seasonal levels, I guess it's a sign of things to come in rising global temperatures.

Winter evening at Obernberg am Brenner, Austria, happy weekend to all.
And oh what is the deal with the new user agreement we've been asked to agree...
Lake Obernberg on a cloudy day. This time at a very high water level.
Absolute peace and harmony at the "Salfeins" lake. Such a night is very rare in summer in the alps.
The church of Lans in front of a remarkable coloured evening sky.
Autumn at a place near Innsbruck, called "Eulenwiesen", famous for its beautiful Larch woods. I've been there a few times before, but never got it that colorful.
Light tracks always attracted me strongly within the last years and this place just waited to be photographed once. I passed so many times before I took the chance today. I blended three shots to get more light tracks.

A calm evening at the Salfeinssee in Tyrol. Never had a clearer reflection in that lake.
Autumn is the best time of the year to enjoy the beauty of tyrolian mountains. This small lake near "Kemater Alm" is one of my favorite spots and this time we were very lucky to get such beautiful light.
Even if a little late, I finally made it to my favorite autumn photo spot. The snow wich has fallen a week ago took something away from the color harmony of this unique larch forest but nevertheless it was a beautiful hike. Now the winter can come.

One more from yesterday's trip to the beautiful Obernberger lake. Tried to get some more atmosphere into the scene here. Hope you like it!
Looking over Innsbruck at dusk.
