Birmingham, located in the heart of England, is a vibrant and diverse city that offers a plethora of photography opportunities. From its iconic landmarks such as the Bullring shopping centre and the Library of Birmingham, to its picturesque canals and parks, Birmingham has something for every photographer. The city is also home to a thriving street art scene, with colourful murals and graffiti adorning many of its buildings. For those interested in architecture, Birmingham boasts a mix of historic and modern buildings, including the stunning Selfridges building and the Victorian Gothic-style Town Hall.

Happened to be in Birmingham yesterday where the annual shopping fest was well under way. Whilst I'm not a big fan of the commercialisation of Christmas, I was taken by the contrast between the colourful old merri-go-round and the stark blue sinuous curves and pattens of the Selfridges building.
