Sunset over South Pier, Blackpool, Lancashire, I hadn't come here to shoot a sunset, and the weather forecast certainly didn't hold any hope so didn't bother taking the tripod with me, heavy rain and cloud for most of the day... inbetween heavy rain showers the sun started to poke its way through the heavy cloud, and for about 10 minutes there was some really great lighting before it finally disappeared for the rest of the evening and the skies returned to their dull colourless state once again. Luckily I happened to be right near the beach when it started to happen and grabbed what I could, thankfully it stayed dry to obtain a few shots.
