I made some research for metro stations in Brussels and I found some visually interesting places. Went last weekend with my best friend. We hopped from station to station, grabbed some shots and ended with a good meal in a Greek restaurant. This is Pannenhuis metro station, located in Laeken.
Tour & Taxis was an old postal building along the Brussels port. Later it became a merchandise transit, due to its excellent location at the canal. For many years it has been empty. They have restored the buildings and became a superb photographic location.

One of the European Parliament buildings in Brussels bears the name of Altiero Spinelli. The esplanade just in front is called Espace Leopold. All the different lights give it a very unique styling. This shot has been composed in photoshop with 7 different brackets. I tried to get all the different shades of the lights. In my opinion I was just a little too late for a perfect blue hour shot.
The Northern Quarter (French: Quartier Nord (Espace Nord), Dutch: Noordruimte) is the central business district of Brussels, Belgium. Like La Défense in Paris, the Docklands in London or the Zuidas in Amsterdam, the Northern Quarter consists of a concentrated collection of high-rise buildings.
The Northern Quarter roughly covers the area between Willebroek Quay, railways along the Brussels-North railway station and the north side of the small ring. The territory is thus split between the municipalities of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Schaerbeek and the City of Brussels.
The area is characterized by high-rise buildings, most around 100 m tall. Over half of the 20 tallest buildings in Belgium are located in the Northern Quarter. The area has around 1,200,000 m² (13,000,000 sq ft) of office space occupied by 40,000 workers. It has an additional 8000 residents.

The European Council, or also called the Lex Building. It is integrated into its surroundings, following the curved front of the Berlaymont building and contains offices and meeting rooms. I was very much attracted by the stairs. This shot has many different leading lines, but I think I found some balance int it.
This is one of the European Parliament buildings in Brussels. This building is on the backside of the Altiero Spinelli building. I was walking around, waiting for the blue hour, I just loved those lines and curves combined with thos massive reflective windows.

Just on time for a great blue hour shot at the Berlaymont building in Brussels. Just a pitty there wasn't much lights inside the offices. I could have known that, I gues they don't work anymore in the European offices at 21h. Anyway, I grabbed a great atmosphere.
