La Cala de la Roca del Paller, denominada así por la gran roca sobre el mar que la preside en su parte izquierda, es una preciosa cala situada en el camino de ronda que transita entre Platja d’Aro y Palamós.
La cala, de pequeñas dimensiones (unos 50 metros de longitud por 10 de anchura) se encuentra inserta en un recorrido ya de por sí bellísimo compuesto, entre otras, por la Cala de les Roques Planes, que se encuentra a su derecha, en dirección norte, y la amplia Playa Can Cristus, al sur.
