I took this photo the morning of my last day in Hongkong back in September. It didn't appear to be a spectacular sunrise that morning due to the lack of clouds.
But as the sun appeared there was this beautiful haze. This together with the warm light made the photo for me.
And a little announcement: till Sunday I have all my post processing tutorials at 33% off their normal price. Simply use "black" as discount code. You can find all my tutorials here.
Bank of China
A little tribute to one of my favorite movies, 'Blade Runner'. The action takes place in November 2019 (the movie was shot in 1982). And Hong Kong has always been the city which comes close to the 2019 Los Angeles depicted in the movie

Those who have been following me for a long time know that I have never posted much B&W shots. But last year I attended a workshop of my friend David Duchens in Paris and now I am really into this genre. But it is really time consuming :-) In this frame, two of my top favorite Hong Kong buildings: the Bank Of China and the Lippo Tower. Shot with the Nikon Z7 & Nikkor Z 14-30mm
Greetings from Hong Kong, where I am revisiting this place with my D800. The last time I was there was in 2007, I was a rookie on flickr and had a Sony A100 :)
I was truly lucky to land in Hong Kong today with an exceptionally clear weather, which urged me to rush to Victoria Peak as soon as I unpacked my luggage.
This shot was processed on my slow laptop, but somehow it managed to handle the digital blending of the 5 D800 raw files.
I wish you could also see the full size 36 Mpix photo! :)
