La chapelle Notre-Dame des Anges fut édifiée fin du XIXe siècle par la paroisse de Ouhans en témoignage de reconnaissance à la Sainte Vierge. La chapelle de forme cylindrique caractéristique est bâtie au sommet de la colline qui domine la source de la Loue, en moellons calcaires recouverts d'un bardage en plaques, avec un toit métallique polygonal couronné par un fin clocheton.

The chapel Notre-Dame des Anges was built at the end of the 19th century by the parish of Ouhans as a token of gratitude to the Blessed Virgin. The characteristic cylindrical chapel is built at the top of the hill that dominates the source of the Loue, in limestone rubble covered with a cladding in plates, with a polygonal metal roof crowned by a fine steeple.

I've been so many times to this place but yesterday I took my first picture of this small, worth seeing town in the French Jura.

Le fort de Joux est situé dans le Doubs, il surplombe la cluse de Pontarlier ouvrant un passage vers la Suisse, dans le massif du Jura. Il fait l’objet d’un classement au titre des monuments historiques depuis le 18 juillet 1996.

Fort Joux is located in the Doubs, overlooking the cliff of Pontarlier opening a passage to Switzerland in the Jura. It has been classified as a historic monument since July 18, 1996.
