Almost... The Fairy Pools that is, wasn't a lot of water flowing down the various falls but it was/is always worth the walk to the very top just for a look see.

The Black Cuillin are the finest mountains in the British Isles, bar none. Big, black, jagged and scary - who can fail to be impressed? Some of my most memorable mountain days were spent up there, and I hope I still have the legs to make it back. This was taken from the top end of the Fairy Pools on a day that was quite wet and wild.

The Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, offer many different compositions. This was one of my favourite. Simple yet effective.
Taken on a trip to Skye at the beginning of the year.
