Garbh Beinn

A bit of archive mining, going back to a superb morning in 2013. This is the view from Garbh Bheinn, looking north above the clouds to the neighbouring Red Cuillin. The pointy peak in the centre is Beinn Dearg Mhor (Big Red Mountain in English - which is pretty accurate!), and behind it is Glamaig. In the far distance you can make out the Storr, and the Old Man of Storr. As you can tell, it was a magnificent day to be at the top of a mountain in Skye!

Belig

Another blast from the past - a memorable moment on the summit of Garbh Bheinn looking across to its smaller neighbour Belig, and a sea of cloud that covered much of the Isle of Skye. Garbh Bheinn is a true Black Cuillin peak, steep, craggy and magnificent - just like its other, bigger, neighbour, Bla Bheinn.
