One of the toughest shots I have taken in a long time. I was at the Croton Gorge Dam, whose existence was bought into my attention while browsing through SunnyDazzled's photostream, and I managed to be at this location with water cascading down and the sun lighting up the sky in lovely colors.
The only problem was no matter how I framed, the safety railing were in the frame and I wanted to get a shot without them. I was using a D7000 with a 12-24mm and Lee holder along with a big stopper and a .6 ND grad and a vanguard Alta pro tripod and the only way could get this shot was to rotate the center column and place the camera and lens through the railings and hold on for the 2 minute exposure. Thankfully no camera equipment was hurt during the making of this shot!!
