Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a hopeful, happy and healthy 2021. The slightly lopsided "Waag" in Deventer is an early 16th Century weighing house and it is the oldest one in the Netherlands. The heyday for the building was the period when the city was member of the Hanseatic League and a lot of trade was done here of goods that were shipped in and out via the IJssel River.
