The Singing Ringing Tree
Panopticon / The Singing Ringing Tree
by Pete Rowbottom

Or the Panopticon as it is known, sits on the moors high above Burnley, it has been designed so when the wind blows it makes a noise as it blows through the many tubes it is made up of, all facing in different directions to catch the wind as it blows by, it was extremely windy here today as well, it didn't make that much of a noise but certainly helped with the long exposure to mute the clouds giving a really stark feel to the remote location.
