A Glasgow bound train from Neilston crosses over the 14 arched Victorian Waulkmill Glen Viaduct constructed around 1903 by Robert McAlpine, who also built the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The Viaduct which crosses the Waulkmill Glen Reservoir is situated to the south of Glasgow in the Dams to Darnley Country Park, a great place for walking and discovering local history.
