Farchant

The Kuhflucht cascade near Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a waterfall I visit quite often and never come away with satisfying shots. This is the first time I'm at least a little bit satisfied. The reason are the nice green trees in the background which add some beautiful color to this picture. With the grey and brownish rocks alone it was always hard to get a good balance.

Also the flow of water was perfect this time. I also went down into the water for some shots but in the end liked this elevated position best.

On a short trip to some waterfalls near Garmisch-Partenkirchen we had a stunning light and a lot of water at the Kuhflucht Farchant.
