France is a country located in Western Europe, known for its rich history, culture, and stunning landscapes. One of its overseas territories is La Réunion, an island located in the Indian Ocean. La Réunion is a popular destination for tourists due to its beautiful beaches, lush forests, and active volcanoes. The island's eaux territoriales, or territorial waters, are also home to a diverse range of marine life, making it a popular spot for diving and snorkeling. For photography enthusiasts, La Réunion offers a plethora of stunning locations to capture, from the rugged coastline to the lush forests and waterfalls.
Langevin River, Reunion Island.
The light was very harsh (it was almost noon), so I had to use Digital Blending with 7 exposures to get a decent lighting. I used a ND400 filter for the water, which gave me a shutter speed of 76 seconds at f/22.

When I am in Reunion Island, I usually shoot a lot from this place, because this is the closest good sunset spot from where I live, and there are also a lot of possible compositions. When I shoot seascapes, I always use NiSi filters, for this one I stacked a CPL, GND16 and ND64

Shot from the location called 'Le Maido' (elevation 2000 meters) in Reunion Island. The light below the sea of clouds is coming from the coastal city of Saint Paul. Thanks to that sea of clouds, it prevents light pollution to shoot the Milky Way. Panorama (168 Megapixels) shot with the Nikon D850 and Nikkor 19mm Tilt Shift, ISO 10,000, f/4 15s
