Another old capture from the Sequoia National Park, this one was captured just before the sunrise. The day we visited the park, unfortunately, had a very hazy sunrise and just before the sunrise the beautiful light which was streaming in was lighting up the fog or haze or whatever that was in the sky. I knew that it was not gonna last and wanted to capture it before it was gone. We came across this outlook point just before we reached Moro Rock and I had barely enough time to get the even pinkish glow and a nice landscape shot.
Five minutes after I took this shot we came across a black bear who was crossing the road and later met with a park ranger who informed us that she saw another female bear with baby and that they were having pretty good bear sightings this year. It was one of my dreams to see a bear in the wild and I am glad I got to see one. It would have been really cool to see a brown Kodiak version though .
Thanks for visiting, Have a great day.
