The coastal village of Piran, is perhaps one of the prettiest in Slovenia. The soft pastel colours, the harbour and the Venetian Tower make it very attractive to photograph. On this particular evening a wonderful pink glow came over the town at sunset.

Morning on the Slovenian coast, with a view over the Gulf of Trieste towards Julian Alps and 100km distant Triglav (2864m), Slovenia's highest peak
Throwback Thursday, I think I will be uploading from older trips on Thursdays for a while.
Piran, Slovenia, after dusk.
Picture taken by my daughter with a 18-55 kit-lens, thus heavily cropped.
Thanks to all Phoide contributors to Gulf of Venice!
