Houten
Houten is a charming town located in the province of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Known for its modern architecture and green spaces, Houten is a popular destination for tourists and photographers alike. The town boasts several picturesque locations that are perfect for capturing stunning photographs. The Old Village, with its historic buildings and quaint streets, is a popular spot for photographers looking to capture the essence of Dutch culture. The Rietplas, a large lake surrounded by lush greenery, is another popular location for nature photographers. Additionally, the town's modern architecture, including the iconic Houten train station, provides a unique backdrop for urban photography.
This is quite a well known photo spot, and one that I had on my wishlist for many years. The sunset wasn't quite as colourful as I hoped for, but I'm pleased with the result nonetheless.
