Where are you going next? After a quick jump in to a fall in my home town it's time to go back to nature again. I still didn’t give up on this years fall and I must say that so far it’s been my most productive fall season to this day. Since the season is sleeping away quickly the plan is to reach as many places and locations as I possibly can in this short amount of time. It really feels refreshing to step away from the usual routine and try to find beauty in unusual places. What do you think?
It’s all about the tone, right? I spent recently some time in Grand Rapids, Michigan and I just fell in love with that skyline. It’s been photographed a lot and I didn’t have that much time to get everything I wanted. I got the night shot but for some reason I like the mood and the color palette from the overcast day. I decided to shoot a long exposure pano. To get the long exposure effect I used the Sony app that blends about 128 shots for each frame to get the long exposure effect. I stitched 13 of those frames for a huge 210MPX pano. I would usually go for a BNW edit but this minimalistic 3 tone frame just spoke to me. What do you think?
“I have seen many storms in my life. Most storms have caught me by surprise, so I had to learn very quickly to look further and understand that I am not capable of controlling the weather, to exercise the art of patience and to respect the fury of nature.” - Paulo Coelho
Don’t you feel the same? I don’t like to complain because I live in the city. Especially because I live in Chicago, it’s a beautiful city and I love it! But every time I get the chance to spend some time in the nature I feel that It gets more and more difficult to come back to it. Getting up early and being greeted with this kind of peacefulness it just very addicting even if you don’t get a shot you anticipated every time. What do you think?
