Litl Toppøya

This spot has good photographic memories for me. The evening before this sunrise I witnessed some great Auroras and in the morning the sky turned a fiery pink over Olstinden mountain. And all this could be witnessed right from the balcony of our cottage.

A great view from my hotel window, as I opened the curtains and saw all these pinks clouds floating by, looking towards the mountain range on Moskenes island. In the foreground, the pretty yellow houses of Sakrisøy.

This was probably the most spectacular view I could have from my hotel window! Just after midnight the light show started, and what made it even more special was the way the full moon illuminated the iconic Lofoten mountain, Olstinden.
